These tactics seems to work well for channels in the Education space.
Literally, release the exact same video you released before if you’re stuck. The algorithm favors new videos. Unlist old video and release it as new. I do this when I’m on a long break from work. Rare but works fine if you’re lazy.
See what parts of the video perform well and publish as shorts
Once per month, publish a video similar to your most popular video
Look for video with great watch time but bad CTR. Re-release with better packaging (thumbnail and title.)
Look for video with great CTR and poor watch time. Look at the retention graph and fix issues or do a completely new intro.
In December and January, take older videos and repackage as ‘2025’. Repeat every year.
Take older videos with terrible retention drop off at the intro and remake the intro.
Compilation of similar videos. For example, taking lots of mock speaking tests and making a ‘Best Speaking Tests of 2025.’
Repurpose other people’s videos. Don’t steal but use them as inspiration. Works great if liberating someone’s video from a different niche.
Take lots of videos on one topic and make a super long video. Ultimate Guide to…. 2-10 hour long. Make new little intros between each video to stich them together.
